Beauty Starts With Hair

Everything about hair care products

If you read a lot about hair growth products, then you probably have noticed that Castor oil is one of the ingredients that gets mentioned quite often. It is also called “liquid gold” because of its benefits, like stimulating hair growth, moisturizing, and nourishing your hair. It is one of the top hair oils that you can use for your hair. Not just for the hair growth but also to get healthier, stronger hair. For the last few months I have been using hair care products with Castor oil and Castor oil in DIY hair masks and this is what happened…

My experience with Castor oil for hair growth

Like others, I have read a lot about Castor oil. About all the hair growth it can promote and all the other marvelous benefits you can get from it. So I tried it out to see if it really works and this is what I have to say:

Pros

  • First, I was surprised that after the first time, I used these products, my hair was already silky, soft, and smooth;
  • After a while, they were not falling out as much as before;
  • I usually have frizzy hair but the fizziness was gone;
  • They looked healthier and stronger;
  • I colored my hair and I noticed that my roots had grown faster than usual.

  Cons

  • I need to admit that these products have a weird smell that I am not really keen on;
  • Compared to other hair care products, these are pretty expensive (in my opinion they are still worth it);
  • If you use Castor oil by itself, then I have to warn you that it is quite hard to fully wash it out, because as an oil it is pretty thick.
